As our founder Lorelei Mathias wrote in Chortle, Ed TV Fest magazine and said at the Big Comedy Conference 2026, it’s not enough to say ‘we welcome applications from invisible disabilities – walk this way’ – we need to be changing the mechanism of the door, and building a ramp.
We’ve lots of ways we do that in our working methods but here’s one of them we believe in strongly:
ZER0-👻 TOLERANCE POLICY
We believe ghosting is a social crime that sends neurodivergent (and neurotypical) brains into spirals. So we believe in always replying to people eventually rather than the silent no even after the meeting went insanely well.
Our submissions are currently closed to scripts and treatments from outside our network. But if you email us, we promise never to ghost you.
We will always reply eventually (sometimes months later, with far more detail than was required – which in many ways is far worse than silence).
Of course if you spot a ghoster, you know who to call.
